Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA)?

The Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) is a European Union regulation that establishes cybersecurity requirements for products with digital elements throughout their lifecycle.

Why is Hypertherm Associates providing this information?

We are committed to supporting secure products and improving transparency regarding product cybersecurity support.

How do I know if my product is supported?

Refer to the Product Cybersecurity Support Registry on this page.

Does inclusion in the CRA product registry mean my product is insecure?

No. CRA establishes requirements related to product cybersecurity, support, vulnerability handling, and communication. The presence of support information does not indicate that a product is vulnerable.  It means that it contains a digital element and, therefore, needs to meet the support and reporting requirements of the CRA.

How will I learn about security-related issues?

Hypertherm Associates may communicate security-related information through:

  • Service announcements

  • Partner communications

  • Product support resources

  • This Product Cybersecurity Support Center

How do I receive notifications?

Depending on the nature of the issue, communications may be provided directly to customers, through distribution partners, through product support channels, or through this website.

Who should I contact with questions?

Please contact your normal Hypertherm Associates support representative or the Product Security Incident Report Team (PSIRT) contact above.
