Spring has arrived in full force up here in New Hampshire. We expect temperatures in the 80's for a second day in a row! The other thing that's arrived is the Spring 2014 issue of our SPARK eNewsletter.

In this issue, Jim Colt answers a question about the use of argon gas for marking, and our Technical Service Team explains the use of "watch windows". There is also information on two new training opportunities. Our Customer Spotlight features a Canadian company called AWC Manufacturing. AWC supplies some of the world’s largest heavy equipment manufacturers like Caterpillar, Hitachi, and Komatsu.

Since implementing a Hypertherm Built for Business Integrated Cutting Solutions, AWC has been able to reduce operating expenses, increase profit, eliminate secondary work, cut down on material handling, and bring outsourced work back in house. The company estimates Hypertherm’s True Bevel and True Hole technologies saved it $100,000 last year alone.
