Job shops and manufacturers using Shoptech’s E2 software can now enjoy seamless integration with Hypertherm’s ProNest CAD/CAM nesting software thanks to a new partnership between the two companies.

The integration between ProNest and Shoptech’s E2 Shop System product is designed to help job shops and manufacturers eliminate manual and redundant tasks that exist in the workflow. Job personnel can more easily track jobs and manage inventory leading to a more efficient—and profitable—operation. For example, if additional steel plate is needed for a job, ProNest and E2 can work together to automatically allocate plate from available inventory, add to a purchase order, and return remaining remnants to inventory.

“As the industry’s leading nesting software for two decades, ProNest offers best-in-class performance and reliability with a straight-forward, easy-to-use design,” said Derek Weston, product marketing manager for Hypertherm CAD/CAM software products. “In partnering with Shoptech, owners of E2 software can now enjoy improved productivity by eliminating redundant work and streamlining their overall operations.”

Established in 1984, Shoptech Software is a leading provider of shop management software for job shops and make to order manufacturers. In addition, the company is consistently ranked one of the fastest growing companies in the United States by Inc. Magazine.

Hypertherm designs and manufactures advanced cutting products for use in a variety of industries such as shipbuilding, manufacturing, and automotive repair. Its product line includes plasma, laser and waterjet cutting systems, in addition to CNC motion and height controls, CAM nesting software, and consumables. Hypertherm systems are trusted for performance and reliability that result in increased productivity and profitability for hundreds of thousands of businesses. The New Hampshire based company’s reputation for cutting innovation dates back nearly 50 years to 1968, with Hypertherm’s invention of water injection plasma cutting. The 100 percent associate owned company, consistently named one of the best places to work in America, has more than 1,400 associates along with operations and partner representation worldwide.
