As a Hypertherm business partner, a variety of training opportunities are available to you to increase your knowledge of plasma cutting technology and the Hypertherm product line. Hypertherm training seminars provide you with the information you need to better satisfy your customers needs.




In-house seminars

 

In-house seminars are held at our world headquarters in Hanover, New Hampshire. There are no fees for our in-house seminars. While you're in Hanover, Hypertherm provides all books and supplies, all lunches and a "networking" dinner one evening. Airfare, hotel and transportation costs are the responsibility of the visitor. Upon receipt of your completed registration form, Hypertherm will send you enrollment confirmation and a list of lodging options in the area. Don't delay. These trainings will fill up quickly! Sales training seminars for 2008

Manual systems sales training

February 19th and 20th
August 19th and 20th

This two-day seminar covers all aspects of Hypertherm manual systems sales, inclusive of the Powermax line. This training is designed to educate new to intermediate distributor sales personnel, as well as offer updated product information for more experienced sales representatives. During the event, Hypertherm will offer you a blended learning experience consisting of product workshops, interactive exercises with time for Q & A, a significant amount of hands-on lab time to demonstrate the important techniques and processes for hand plasma cutting and safety, and the opportunity to meet with leaders at Hypertherm. We will also take an extensive tour of the 130,000-square foot main plant facility.

This two-day course is designed for distributor, and other qualified, repair personnel familiar with electro-mechanical equipment maintenance, troubleshooting and repair.

Introduction to mechanized service
April 24th

Offered at the end of the manual systems service training, this is a one-day course intended for experienced service people who have an interest in mechanized plasma cutting machines and processes. The HT2000 will be the example machine.

Mechanized systems service: Level I

This three-day course is designed to provide qualified service personnel with the basic information necessary to maintain and repair Hypertherm mechanized plasma cutting systems. This course is for service and repair technicians with little or no experience with our systems.

December 9th, 10th and 11th

This advanced three-day course is designed to provide in-depth technical coverage of our current systems. Technicians with experience repairing and/or installing our systems are candidates for this higher level course.

Plasma process optimization for service personnel

This one-day course is offered after the Mechanized service training classes and is designed to familiarize service personnel with operating parameters and common practices. Emphasis will be on cut quality and consumable life optimization.

Automation Technical Service Training Level I

April 22nd-24th
June 24-26th

This 3-day course is designed to provide Technical Service Personnel with the foundation needed to install and support Automation products. This training is designed for those new to Automation CNCs and Height Controls, and is a combination of classroom and laboratory activities. During the training Hypertherm will offer you a combination of classroom and interactive training and exercises designed to assist you in addressing installation, end user training, and common troubleshooting in the field.

A large portion of the training centered on hardware hands-on activities.
