The performance standard for air plasma cutting.
Recommended pierce capacity: Up to 3/8 inch (10mm). Maximum pierce capacity: Up to 5/8 inch (16 mm). |
The Powermax 1250's technologies in both power supply and torch cuts faster and more economically than any hand system available today. In fact, it cuts faster on 1-inch (25 mm) mild steel than any competitor tested. Its Auto-voltage™ circuit provides automatic adjustment to any input voltage from 200 to 600 volts, 1- or 3-phase. A state-of-the-art, microprocessor-based architecture assures optimum system reliability. Add to this Hypertherm's advanced torch technology and easy-to-read controls, and you have the most advanced plasma cutter money can buy. |

* Note: Take care in comparison: competitors often show maximum cutting speeds rather than speeds that deliver the best cuts, as shown above. Cut speeds listed above deliver best cut quality, but cut speeds can be up to 50% faster.
** ISO 9013 is a standard that defines cut quality of thermally cut parts. The lower the range (range 1 is the lowest), the smaller the angle on the cut face. Cut angle in range 4 is better than in range 5.
