"Shortly after setting up our Powermax 600 system, we accepted a commission for an ornate outdoor bench. Each corner of the rectangular steel top frame involved multiple radii, one of which was very small, and attempts to fabricate these corners using a large industrial roll bender failed.
Another option - laser cutting the corners and manually building the corner sections proved to be unduly expensive and would have exceeded the client's delivery timeframe.
Instead, our staff fabricated simple wooden forms matching the frame's outer and inner corner profiles. We then cut the corner plates using our Hypertherm system, and welded the box sections ourselves. In the end, we completed two difficult corner sections - perfectly matched - kept the work in house, incurred virtually no additional cost and saved several weeks of time. We are believers!"
